Virtual Brain Viewer

The Virtual Brain Viewer provides visual support to Psychology students for their cognitive and biology modules.

When you open the 3D application, you have the following rendering options:

1. Brain area: Hover your mouse on any part of the virtual brain and hold the left mouse button pressed. Move the cursor to rotate the 3D brain viewer. The view of the brain from different angles will follow the mouse move.

2. Controls: This area includes:

Slice positions: Split the brain into different cross-sectional 3D images.

Brightness & contrast: Change the contrast and brightness of the rendering area.

Display mode: 3D or 2D brain images are rendering.

Brain Atlas Labels: Different brain sections are highlighted with different colours.
